Protecting endangered plants and our change strategy

Protecting Endangered Plants

Threats to native plants

Continued habitat degradation, fire, alien species, more frequent severe weather events, and falling numbers of the animals involved in pollination and seed dissemination are all threats to our native plants.

How we work

We have a major job ahead of us: reducing pollution, reversing devastation, repairing systems, and repairing harm. So, let's get started.

We show up, speak out and act

We advocate for bold solutions because the issues we confront are large and urgent. To make our communities better, we employ evidence-based lobbying, boldness, innovation, and common sense.

As an advocacy group, we put a spotlight on injustice and devastation, and we develop practical approaches to improving the future. It is important to us to protect our trees, communities, reefs, and animals.

Our Change Strategy

Change the story

Stories are important. They affect people's perceptions of what is possible. That is why we are challenging the conventional narrative that devastation is inevitable. We are sowing fresh tales of hope, bravery, and connection in order to motivate others to take action.

Build people power

We are cultivating a tidal wave of individuals who care and act in strong, organised groups. Together, we are holding decision-makers accountable, pursuing genuine change, and improving the world.

Fix the system

We cannot simultaneously resolve the pollution and extinction crises. In order to continue enjoying life on our beautiful planet, we are addressing the major structural challenges posed by laws, institutions, and choices.

Together, we can make change

Change can only occur when people unite and demand it. People united in their desire to make a difference – that is all it takes to change the world.

We are nature's defenders

Major polluter lobbying organizations argue that we should plant trees. Instead, we are fighting to prevent logging firms from cutting them down.

Advocacy is important

Reminding our legislators that they are accountable for the decisions they make, we urge them to priorities the welfare of their constituents and our planet.
